About the workplace
Wallenius Marine is a Swedish shipping company providing services in Ship Management and Ship Design/Newbuilding. Our vision is to lead the way towards truly sustainable shipping. To get there, we believe in innovative design, sustaintech, digitalization and partnership. In recent years, we have built energy-efficient multi-fuel vessels and LNG/battery hybrids. We also design wind-powered cargo ship concepts that emit 90% less air emissions than the most energy-efficient ships today. As a part of our team, you will be involved in driving projects that set new standards and shape the future of shipping.
Our main business areas are:
- Ship Management: We are responsible for the technical management and manning of ships for customers worldwide. Working closely with our customers, we optimize vessel lifetime and operations, always with sustainability and innovation in focus.
- Ship design and newbuilding: Since the mid-1990s, we have delivered nearly 70 newbuilds and retrofits - a legacy we are proud of and continue to build on. Together, we can create the next chapter in the history of shipping.
